I picked up a set of Arnotts UCAs. From what I've read they work in either standard or air suspension. I hope this to be the case as I'm replacing alot of my suspension starting the day after Christmas. Hoping to get my headers installed too, but not counting on it. Arnott seems to have a pretty good rep as well. I'll likely rebuild my OEM arms so if the new ones fail I'll have them waiting. Did the same thing with my PS pump and Alternator. The electronics that go bad only cost about 30 bucks. I'd advise anyone replacing parts to keep the parts and screw the Core fee, keep the core you can rebuild it for less than a new one....that's why they want the core it's profitable to retain them.

^ someone recently posted up their review on the Arnott UCA and they balljoint boot was no good.

as for the core, u could replace the bushings but if the balljoint is bad, then ur screwed.

Lil, did you get a chance to look at your old one? Also Im considering just going as is for a bit and then getting both new fronts from sewell as the CL price is 527.00 Each a good 300 less than normal.

I just installed the Arnotts. The only issue I had was that the hole for the lock pin is out of position. I drilled new ones without much trouble. Alternatively you could just put some washers under the castle nut to line it up to the hole. I tried buying used ones but even though they felt ok out of the car, once installed the play seemed to be too much for my mechanic to pass it for safety. In Canada, the best price I could find was $420 a side, so the Arnotts were an easy choice. $280 shipped to my door with brokerage and tax. So far so good...
