hey guys its time to replace my upper control arms on my 99 GS and i bought a set off ebay for 179 a piece. I want to know what is the trick to getting them free off the knuckle because i tried to remove them once and they wouldnt come out off the knuckle the ball joint in the control arm is stuck in there pretty good.

 

What did you use to remove them?

A pitmall puller (aka balljoint puller) usually does the trick.

 

i havent removed them yet but i attempted once with no success but i guess i will have to go rent a ball joint puller from autozone and see what happens.

 

why rent it?? just buy it.... u need that for your ball joints as well
