stay away from ebay when it comes to the upper arms. You're going to have to spend some money on these. You drive a Lexus now.

I just bought a pair from ebay that arrived today.. The quality is good and the ball joint is nice and tight... These are a temp fix until i buy the Megans next year.. Aftermarket parts have to meet OEM specs if not better.. This seller has sold 97 units. I got mine in a few days.

I would be interested in finding out anyone else who may have used these before. I'm looking to replace mine. I have a knocking on the driver side and its coming from the control arm.

just a quick update.. Ended up installing these myself on the ground jacking up each side one at a time.. Let me say it was worse than installing the lower ball joints i did a few years back.. the hardest part was lining up the hole and getting the bolt to go through on each end. Saved myself $212.00.

Upon inspection of my UCA's with 73k miles the ball joints were pretty loose compared to the new ones.. I know some say that replacing them is not needed but brand new ones sure will take away any sloppiness that the old ones had..

Tmf, how is it a month later? Clunking, squeaking, burping, or farting noises? Difference in comfort over potholes or bumps?

so far so good. no squeaks or clunking. feels alittle tighter than before. remember the old ball joints had lots of play in them. they had 73k miles. on them .

I remember reading on here someone confirm that UPC from the first generation GS fits the second generation. The poster also mention that they were thicker when compared. Maybe that can be a alternative UPC replacement for those trying to save some money. But search for the thread before ordering. I would look for it but its 3 am.

^ they are direct replacements. As a matter of fact, they are the EXACT same UCA that's on the 2002-2003 Sport Design models and they are no cheaper...just as expensive as the others from Lexus.

I have e-bay UCA's, wheel bearings, strut bars, and struts on the front.

10k or so miles and still rocking out......

People get too butt hurt about e-bay. And to the person who said "you own a lexus now" when will you be able to tell the difference between ebay, and oem? Or even see the UCA's.....

If it works, it works, and saves the owner money in the long run. Even more so if something worse than UCA's go bad.....IE engine failure.....

edit: I have 303k miles on my GS300 btw.....
