Wink Cheapest Upper Control Arms

I just got my ball joints changed and got an alignment but the steering is still off center so im assuming that it's my Upper Control Arm because the mechanic said it was 50% at best so my question is who has the cheapest Upper control arm because i know there gonna hammer me on the labor so i was hoping to catch a break on the cost of the part.

Any Suggestions on where to buy them?:

To be honest i've seen them on eBay for like $150.. I don't know if anyone can comment on them, but that's the cheapest place i've seen them. Ordering them from Sewell is gonna run you around $600 I think even with a CL discount.

Ebay arms will last for a year or two at best, and then you'll be purchasing a new set, paying for labor to install them, and paying for another alignment. They just do not meet OEM specs and will fair prematurely, and can put your life in danger if they fail while the car is in motion.

Don't molest your Lexus with aftermarket garbage, buy proper OEM parts. I believe sewell lexus has them for around $450 for a set.

I just changed the upper arm purchased from Autozon.
I think brand is Doorman. Paid around $270.

Local Lex dealer quoted $1,700 for replacing two upper control arms and accessory belt even one control arm is in good shape.

Ouch! This is EXACTLY why I never go to the stealership for my Lexus parts. As for a recommended parts dealer to obtain upper control arms, I would suggest checking out lexuspartsnow.com. I buy legit OEM parts from them for a nice discount off of M.S.R.P.

OEM ball joints and aftermarket ball joints are all the same....the actual fitment i.e. arms, lengths, steel is what is actually different.

What I mean is that the actual ball joint where it meets the spindle/knuckle are all the same, built the same way, etc. The variation in arms come from the manufacturers in the thickness and type of bushing that is placed where the arm meets the body mount and the shape/preciseness of the arm from the body to the knuckle.
