Default Climate control blacked out screen

Hello, sorry if this thread is a repost

just wondering what the best method is for replacing the blacked out LCD on my climate control. Car is a 1992 Celsior. I'm not sure if a LS400 control unit or even the screen will work.

I've seen a couple website with the guys replacing the screens for $200, but that seems a bit steep in price no?

LexLS has everything you need, the one's you buy online for around 200 are specially made to withstand heat and are more durable than the stock one's in our LS's.

I had mine done by an individual on Ebay. He sent me a repaired unit and I sent him my broken unit and $120. I couldn't be happier. I had it done about a year ago and it looks and works perfect.
