Default H.I.D problem

my passenger h.i.d bulb only turns on if i flick the highbeam switch a few times what would cause this ? im unsure of the brand was installed in car when i got it even with the drl only 1 turns on unless i turn the switch on 2 normal lights and flick the high beam

oh wait i meant that since u highbeamed the bulb went out...my fogs do that sometimes when i hit highbeams since the fogs go off when u highbeam.

google the hid "CAN" fix, a couple of caps will help. basically you need a buffer between the oem wiring and the aftermarket HID which has a much higher startup draw than your OEM bulbs.

OR you could use a relay harness that pulls power from the battery.

I was having an issue that seems like it could be related.. One of my headlights would sometimes randomly fail or wouldn't turn on with the initial flip of the switch.. eventually I realized that both of them were doing it individually.. Not too long after that, they both stopped working completely. I was sure it was an electrical problem, but after I replaced both bulbs, I haven't had a problem since.

can u get me the link im loooking for i couldnt find on google really what i need unless im really that canadian lol


I thought the bulb2 but its done it since day 1 said the previous owner

Thank you all for ur helpfull coments im gonna do the capacitor fix first if not that then new bulbs i love this site ! lol
