I installed a 55W HID kit from DDM tuning in my 99 GS3, and was having a problem w/ 1 side not coming on. I'd have to switch the lights off and on several times before both lights would come on. I then ordered and installed the recommended wiring harness, but am still experiencing this same issue. I've also upped the fuse for the headlights to 20amps as recommended by DDM's site as well. I attempted the DRL disable found in the common DIY thread, but this didn't work for my car in disabling the DRL's, so what's next? Any info will help fellas, so thanks in advance!

sounds noob, but have you flipped the connector at the ballast from the bulb? i've had to do that on several of my ddm kits

If it is working when you turn it on and off multiple times then I dont think its because connections are wrong. It usually does that when its not getting enough power to trigger the ballast.

Swap the ballasts and see if the issue follows it to the other side. Then get with DDM technical support to get the bad ballast replaced.

The DDM kit in my WRX has done this twice in two years. Off-on and it was fixed so i have not worried about it.
