Lexus engine for $1
I bid for a Lexus LS 400 (first gen) engine for a dollar and the bid got up to 15.00 and it has around 60,000 miles and it's in good condition and I was wondering what would the shipping go for an engine and you think it's a good idea to do this?..also I wanna know what the installation price would be for the engine. I mainly bid for it because one of my lifters are broken and i have around 102,000 on my engine
thanks
thanks
Here's the stats...some guy outbid me for 15.50 and the seller told me that it's $100 for shipping which isn't worth it 'cause I might go and pick it up (it's in Rancho Cordova,CA) and I'm in Los Angeles, which I would be saving around $80 and next time I bid I'm just gonna bid the last seconds becuase the engine was going for a dollar.

Last time shipping was $300. If you call 100 "screwed" then you don't need to buy an engine off e-bay...lol

Serious man, your complaining over $115 for an engine for your car. Where is your sense of reality?

hey people, i used to dable in swaps (honda's and DSM's) and my engine supplier has 2 LSengines sitting there, he's had them for about 2-3 years now, he says he cant sell them because LS400's dont break down, last time i checked he had 2, one was 90-94 LS400 and the other was 95-97 ( think) if your in need i can ask what he wants for them.
