Default Uneven trunk lines?

I've noticed on several LS400's, at least 5-6, looking from the back side of the car, the left side of the trunk typically doesn't line up perfectly with the rest of the body lines on the car. Anyone else notice this?

my cars trunk isn't aligned perfectly. It used to bother me but now i don't care. The trunk is raised a little over the quarter panels. You don't notice unless you look really closely.

I don't notice that maybe... maybe one side of the trunk sits lower then the other or the suspension sits lower then the other. Or maybe it's your vision! LoL j/k

I had the same problem. There are some adjustment screws on each side (inside) of the trunk. Just pop off the plastic inserts, loosen the nuts (each side) and move the trunk a little at a time until it lines up.

Thanks! I noticed mine was slightly off and then I noticed several other LS's being the same way, so figured it might be a common problem.

I've seen this on a few too. I used to think that they were wrecked and fixed, but the same issues are commonplace enough that I think it's like that from the factory, or maybe warped over time
