LS400 owners post your wheel setup
I was thinking the same thing. Studs are too much of a hassle imo. I feel so unsafe right now driving around town, I wont even get on the highway until I figure it all out. So far I am seeing that they come in 1", 1.25", and 1.5". I was thinking 1" (25mm) front and 1.25" (32mm) back. I don't necessarily want to go with the most expensive ones but don't want to sacrifice durability either. Any recommendations on a brand?
lol i use any generic brand. i've ran a 30mm adapter (rear) and a 15mm adapter (front) for my 18" g35 wheels before with no problems whatsoever. just as long as everything is torqued down to the proper specs, it should be fine.
i disagree, i've seen way too many people break studs/lose wheels and wreck their cars from generic and off-brand adapters/spacers.
Known brands only for me. H&R, Eibach, Project Kic's, adaptec, and that's pretty much it.

Ichiba in your book isn't a known brand buh I ran them for a good amount of months without any issues. I have only heard about 2 horror stories tho. I just triple checked I installed them correctly and torqued it correctly in the star pattern
I've had too many friends break studs to recco them.
Thanks for the input fellas. On the one hand I found a complete set for a little under 150 bucks shipped but if i go with H&R they will cost me double. PureDrifter, which studs are you talking about failing? The ones on the hub or the ones on the adapters? I am thinking the adapters put extra strain on the hub studs but are you referring to the ones on the adapters?
adapters are fine to use but like everyone said, brand does matter and have them properly torqued. even drift and time attack cars use them! project kics are the nicest, and most expensive!
for me i would only use them if changing a lug pattern (i.e. 5x114 to 5x120). anything else, just get better fitting wheels!
