Hello everyone

I bought hids yesterday and installed them but they wouldn't turn on. I tested the bulbs and ballast separately and they were both working fine. So i asked they guy I bought it from and he said I might need to get a relay switch for it to work. My question is have any of you ran into this problem? I checked the fuses and they were all good even put my stock bulbs back in to make sure they were still working.
The kit I got was 55watt 5000k, any help would help please let me know if you need anymore information thank you

 

I'm having the same problem with the same year Sc through a pair of 8000k lights......

 

This may sound silly but have you tried reversing the plug? Sometimes the aftermarket kits are reversed and they don't let you know that.

 

I solved the problem by hooking up a relay switch and now it works perfectly fine.

 

Could you link me the site where you ordered the relay switch from please.
