Eleaborate a little on this statement. I'm no expert, but I've never read much about, nor experienced any premature failure of PIAA, with the exception of of JacobT's, which is unfortunate, but even the best bulbs will have a bad set now and then.

Also what other brands do you throw into this expensive non-lasting brands category.

Thanks

Cool Blues suck, avoid them. Same with BlueVisions.

Thanks
Dex,

Both of my PIAA went out. One for a year and the other 1.5 years. That costed me $75 for the pair. I'd say SilverStar is as bright as PIAA superwhite but may last longer. Keep my fingers crossed

DAMN!!! I bought cool-blues just a month ago!!!!!

Why are silverstars better and how do they compare to stock? When I saw them at PEP boys they looked just like normal bulbs with a fancy package. What's the technology behind them?

Interesting how the halogen foglight seems to be brighter than the 8000K foglight.....

Yeah, from what I've seen they aren't as bright as lower Kelvin rated HID's... It's more for looks...

you are blinding them coz' the lights from your 8000k is going in every direction. this is coz' the 8000k has such different light pattern than the stock 4100k. but the point isn't what people see from your car, it's how you see the road from your car. comparing to the 4100k the 8000k does not illuminate the road good at all
