Question Clear fogs..

Does anyone out there know how to make the foglights clear on a 93 es? I followed the instructions on how to make the headlights clear and that worked like a charm, but I would love to make the fogs clear, cause that yellow **** is killing me!!

i dunno, but you could add filters of every primary light color and your light will come out white. just a thought.

Default Yellow gone

For the fog lights, I think you need to change the lense on the inside that is making thebulbs look yellow. Because they are really just white bulbs shining through a yellow lense. If you can open it up and let me know what it looks like... Maybe you can tell by just looking at it.

Haven't some people removed the yellow in the fogs? Probably a similar procedure as the headlights/corners. I'd search for it and see if you find anything.

On a side note, I didn't like the yellow fogs when I first got the car, but I think they've grown on me. I still might consider trying to clear them in the future, but I like the yellow too.

Default clear fogs

I removed the yellow in the fog light and it is very easy you can tell what to take off by looking under the front bumper of the car. It only takes about 3-4 min for each one. Very Easy

Default I've..

Already tried to remove the lens. I took the whole thing apart and still couldn't get to the lens. Then I kinda broke that little piece that holds the bulb in place, so I had to do a little rigging just to get it to work properly again! I guess I'll give it another shot useing the oven trick!

Talking No oven Required!!

Well guys, I did it in less than a half an hour at 2 in the morning with a flashlight!! First I just took the whole houseing(3 screws) down then came in the house for some more light! Then a few screws later I came to just the lens. Now before when I took the whole thing apart I still couldn't get to the lens, so I decided to work from the front of the light. I removed the four screws that hole the clear cover in then CAREFULLY broke out the yellow glass lens that was in there. The glass lens came out in a snap, then just reassembled the whole thing and presto, clear fogs. Granted the light is now white, but isn't that why I bought the superwhites ... Plus its MUCH brighter now..
