Default HID cut off not straight

so I installed ddm tuning's 35W hid kit into my es350...

last night, while I was parked @ my drive way with my HIDs on, I noticed that the cut off for the right lo beam isn't a straight cut like that of the left lo beam. Also, I noticed that the right lo beam is slightly brighter than the left. I know this may be vague, but I appreciate any advice that you guys can give. I'll also post a pic asap so hopefully it will make more sense.

Thanks!

update:

ok I know these pictures are not of the best quality, but here goes

I know this is kind of hard to tell, but the cut off is sort of like ________------ but my --- area is sort of jagged / has some humps and not a crisp cut..any ideas?

I also noticed that my right HID is way brighter and seems to be whiter than my left...as you can see in the pictures.

Last but not least, my friend who has the same kit in his mazda 3 mentioned that my beam's angle seem to be going out in a / direction instead of a | (i'll try to get more pics in later). So when I'm driving at night, my right hand side is way more illuminated than my left. He also said that his car does not experience any of the problems which I have...

So any ideas guys? Do you think its just a simple installation problem? Or I got a bad kit...? Or could it be something worse? Any help would be much appreciated!

somehow this is backwards, is it because the GS headlights are reflective housing? DO you have a pic of the kit?

the orientation of the bulb matters? I thought the bulbs only go in one way..

Yes it does matter. Double check how the bulbs are seated.

Yeah, I had same exact problem with my HID kit, cut off was real bad...so took the bulb out and changed the sides, and that fixed the problem for me.

Are you using projector or regular reflector lenses? Also looks like your headlights are aimed to high, i think it should be a tad lower.
