Long lasting fogs?
Does anyone know of a good brand of fog light bulbs with a good lifespan. The last two pairs of bought (sylvania and hella) burned out within a few months. Is it normal for fogs to out that quick? I dont even keep them on all the time.

I had the Sylvania's in my LS400 as regular headlights but they did not last at all. I actually thought that Sylvania was a good brand but I guess not.

I had sylvanias in my headlights before I went HID and they did fine but it seems like my fogs just burn a lot quicker than they should.
Can anyone tell me if fogs always have a shorter lifespan?

try PIAA and Philips but make sure you get the same wattage bulbs as stocks
any higher one will burn out prematurely
should seriously invest in some HID FOGs and get it over with or LED fogs for that matter

how bright are the PIAA bulbs compared to HID kit for fogs?
I kinda want a HID kit for fogs, but bulbs are way cheaper =\

normal halogens run about 1000-1200 lumens, but all these aftermarket bulbs are just tinted glass, so you will get much less than that
if you get 4300k HID, it'll be around 3200-3400 lumens and 6000k will be at 2800 lumens

HID will outlast halogen bulbs as HID bulbs do not have a filament meaning that the bulb will not be susceptible to road vibrations. Usually these vibrations are what cause a halogen bulb to burn out.
