Default Replacement D2R bulbs

Can I run a 6000k or 5000k replacement D2R bulb with the stock HIDs? Anybody have a good place to buy new bulbs or even used bulbs?

Yeah, they'll work fine. Check out the forum sponsors, mobilehid and xenondepot; both offer quality bulbs at reasonable prices. I'd trust them over the cheaper bulbs on Ebay and the like. Both of them offer a good warranty and stand behind their products.

I ran the PIAA 5800K (Cobalt Blue) D2R bulbs on my 2002 ES's stock HID set up with no problems.

I was completely satisfied with them. They were just a tad bluer than the stock 4100k but illuminted about the same amount. When I got them they were close to $400 for the pair through TireRack.com but have come down some in price since. I also liked that they came with a 3 year guarrentee/warranty. I would like to take a picture of them for you, but alas, I cannot. I sold the ES back in May so I could move up to the GS I have now. I will say, when the HID bulbs go in my GS, I will be preplacing with the PIAAs once again.
