Default why are 6500k bulbs cheaper than 6000k?

i have noticed that 6500/8000k are cheapter than 4300/6000k
why is this?
is it b/c of the fact that the light output is greater for the 4300/6000k?

thanks

which companies bulbs are you talking about?

4300k and 6000k phillips bulbs will obviously be more expensive than any other aftermarket bulbs....
