aRE gARAX STILL THE BEST REPLACEMENT BULBS ?
Im looking into getting a replacement set of D4S bulbs. For the money i remember Garax as being the best bang for buck bulb. Is this still true ? Also where can i purchase Garax 6k bulbs at ?

Ditto everyone else.
I dont have experience with Garax but I do have experience with Morimoto D4S bulbs and new Philips bulbs from Amazon.
Morimotos dont seem to work reliably with our ballasts. I ended up getting a refund. I tried them for 2 weeks and swapped bulbs from side to side to no avail as either both side would go out randomly.
The Philips have been flawless from the get go despite being a little on the warmer side, but i'd rather have that than unreliable headlights. Driving around with a bum headlight is embarrassing too. I've been driving with them for just over a month now and they've never gone out. If your headlights are going out randomly try a new Philips/OEM bulb first before going with an aftermarket brand.

I would disagree unless you bought from a merchant and not "sold by Amazon.com".
I checked the hologram serial (both bulbs had unique ones) on both of my bulbs on the philips website and they were legit. They've also been performing flawlessly. If they turn out fake, Amazon's CS has no problem having you exchange them at no cost.

I had garax on watch for the longest. When I was in Japan few weeks back, I checked out super autobacs (kinda like an upgraded pep boys) and other than the cheepo vanity mirrors and air freshners... They've got some decent stuff like Volk Wheels and JDM high-end exhaust parts for Subaru... One thing that stuck out were Philips 6200k D4S/D4R. I asked which is better bulb between Garax v Philips... Helpful guy said Philips. I just ordered me a pair of Philips, won't install it yet till I order me a hid fog kit.
