Are these denso ballast real?

I called Toyota and Lexus dealership and they said the part number on the ballast is no good.

Thats probably because HIDexperts is located in CANADA. i dunno if that has anything to do with it..

no... has nothing to do with it...

a ballast is a ballast is a ballast... and i'm not surprised that there are ballast numbers that aren't listen in my EPC... those are prolly ballasts that aren't sold separately from the whole headlight assembly...

Those ballasts look pretty authentic to me.

those are koito ballasts. which are pretty much the same thing.

They are real. I have a set. If you look closely, they are D4S/D4R ballasts.
They just look different from most that you see because they are a newer, slimmer version of the Denso/Koito ballast.

yes they are authentic, pretty nice looking set, like LXMN said they are D4S/D4R these come mostly on all new lexus'

LXMN where in IA are you located?

Hey LXMN when you did the install of the HIDexpert kit, it was plug and play out of the box, I just got one as well, do you ballasts make a buzzing noise when the car is off and a quiter buzz when the car is on?

also did you change any fuses or upgrade anything else to support the upgrade?
