Default HID headlight cutting out

driver side headlight turns on, auto levels fine and then turns off, checked connections all fine. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance.

I would swap it to the other side and see if it goes out on that side...if so its the bulb...if not it may be a loose wire..

How do your bulbs look? could be the bulbs are old and the voltage is getting to high for the ballast to support. Check the ground connections. Also since the power is central going to both of the headlights ot definatly not the relay or anything before it.

check the contacts of the bulb...make sure its set in properly. As others have suggested....swap with the other side to see if it does the same thing on the driver-side....if it does...you know its NOT the bulb....and probably the ballast or wires between the bulb and ballast.

Good luck.
