Default Headlight Ground Wires

My passenger headlight is dim, all others are fine. Most research seems to point to an electrical issue. One post from years ago mentions replacing ground wires but didn't give any specifics. Does anyone know the location of the headlight ground wires? Thanks.

If they're HID its extremely unlikely that a new ground will make a difference. I would start with replacing the bulbs as the bulbs get dimmer as they get more hours of use. Same goes for the ballasts but to a lesser degree

Thanks - I'll probably take the driver side bulb and put it in the passenger side to see what happens. If it's fine then obviously a bulb issue.

Appreciate the response.

Swapping your bulbs around is always the best way to rule something out - either you need some new D2R HID Bulbs (do yourself a favour - if you're going to replace one, just replace the pair so they best match each other), or you have something on that particular side causing the issue (whether it is related to general wiring/grounds or a D2R HID Ballast problem is next to determine).

Right you are - I had D4S on the brain yesterday. Fixed my notes above, for the sake of posterity.

Unfortunately, D2S and D2R bulbs are not interchangeable.

If you ever do a projector retrofit those are the bulbs you'll want so maybe you can still use them in the future
