Default HID Headlight Problem

for some reason when i put the bulb into the headlight it will not stay on, but when i pull it out of the headlight casing it stays on.. but soon as i put it into the headlight and close the cap it wont stay on ..i just dont get it
i need some help please!!

Sounds like a wiring issue or loose contact somewhere. Try swapping the left and right bulbs and see if the problem stays with the wiring or goes with the bulb.

really a wiring issue!! damn! i wonder how much thats gonna cost!!

What kind of kit is the hid? For the cheap kit try flickering your high beam.

damn i dont wanna look or sound stupid but i didnt get a kit I just bought a HID bulb. It was $89.00

Your car had factory hids, right? Were the old bulbs working properly? Sounds to me like something is shorting out when you put the bulbs in the housing, or a contact that comes loose.

I'd definitely check the connections and follow it through. And did you turn your headlights "ON" or "AUTO"?
