Default 99 gs400 bulbs blown, good replacement?

my 99 gs400 bulbs are about to be blown soon.. when i first turn them on, they blow pink for a second.

anyway, from my understanding, im looking at getting a D2R replacement bulbs

anyone know a good reputable brand i should go with?
ebay has tons of bulbs, but it seems like they dont have the 4100k replacement.

they have tons of 6000k

what is a good replacement brand, and anyone have problems with 6000k bulbs? too blue? i like the stock oem look, but i can sacrifice that if its cheap on ebay!

you sure you can't find any 4100k philips hid d2r bulbs? i thought they would be very common. but to be honest for a good price you can't beat ebay since these should be pretty common stuff

oh and i have 6000k for both my gs400 and sc430, i don't have any problems. bluer and i like it

i have found osram 4300k bulbs, at $50 bucks a pair. thats a good price.

i am now pondering whether or not i should go with 6000k or the stock look.

i got your pm, i will reply it here.

i like how the 6000k looks a bit bluer, it's a great contrast to the yellow fogs i have (on both gs400 and sc430). by comparison i just think the stock hid is a bit too yellow for me. in theory the 6000k has less light output, but in reality i think they are very close.

oh and osram is very good brand too, you can trust them.

Hey Dino,
Recently I had to find an HID replacement for my 1998 LS 400. I purchased a pair of D2R Philips 4300k temp on EBay Friday for $102.00 and received them yesterday (super fast shipping). It took me 15 to 20 minutes to install both of them, and I am very, very pleased. They are very bright and even have a little shade of blue to them - I highly recommend the seller (have his info if you want).
On a side note, since the installs - I've notice my check the engine light has come on. I wonder if that's a correlation or coincidence.

Good luck to ya buddy,
