I want to do a retro fit putting some projectors on my gs headlights...im thinking about buying another set of headlights do i have to buy a gs400 headlight or can i just by a gs300, im not sure about the different between the two i heard that the inner lense is different ?

 

As far as I am aware there is no difference. If you are doing a retrofit you can pick up a non hid headlight pretty cheap. I got mine for $130 from a member and they were in great shape

 

you should get a set of halogen lights since they're cheaper compared to hid lights. you'll be modding the projector onto the reflectors so no sense in getting hid reflectors. make sure the outer lenses are clear or you'll some distortion on the output.

what kind of projectors are you going to be using?

 

i have a set of audi a4 projectors.and one more question how do you align it and make it even b4 its even on the headlight?

 

Are you talking about before you begin the process and open them up or are you referring to aligning everything while working on it.

Umm it seems like you don't know what your doing, you can read the tread at hidplanet.com but with out experiance you might not get the result your looking for your better of getting someone to do the retro for you. And dont look for scurts thread because it was removed by his request because he got banned for violating forum rules.
