Default current sc430 HID bulb temp

hey guys, what's the current temp on our bulbs?
is it 4300K?
i'm reading that 6000K was noticably dimmer....
is 5000K any better in terms of a bit more whiter/bluish but good light output?

yes that's correct, ALL hid on ANY cars from factory with hid are 4100-4300k, no exceptions.

i have 6000k on my gs400, it's a bit dimmer but i can still see the road very well. anything higher is bad. if i do it again for my sc430 i will get 6000k again no brainer

yes the 6000k is a bit "bluer" and "whiter" than the 5000k, but i don't think the difference is that noticeable

i would get philips for sure

yup. but it's all about comparison. basically if we put everything together, i say

4300 - yellow
5000 - yellowish white
6000 - puplish white
7000 - green
8000+ - darker blue and purple
