Default GS430 Clear Corners

I just got clear corners for my 2001 GS430. Don't know how to remove the amber fixture to put in the clear one. Do I have to unscrew the wheel well splash guards to get behind the front fender?

Thanks in advance for any help.

From my recollection a long time ago, I believe you have open up the hood, get behind the high-beam fixture to access the turn signal housing, and use a screwdriver or something hard to break the amber plastic from the housing (and clean up the broken pieces afterwards). Then you can go ahead with the clear corner mod. I'm sure a GS owner who has done the clear corner mod will chime in.

EDIT: Oops, I'm mistaking this for the amber bumper lenses Oh well, I'll leave my post up in case anyone is curious on clearing their GS turn signals

IMO the easiest way is to take off your foglamps and go through there. Just twist off the bulb and undo the 2 bolts. Do a search in the GS section it will come up in more detail.

Which clear corners did you get? There are so many on the market. I'm just don't want them to turn yellow or haze up in a year after installing them.
