i stumbled on a japanese website that sells clear side markers..anyone remember that site???

i saw people in thie greoup making their own clear side markers.. it comes out real nice should do a search and save some cash... it looked pretty easy to make too.

GO to the lighting section of H. Depot. Look for the clear lens material used for flourescent light fixtures; comes in like 24" X 48" sheets (or something like that). It's about $2.39 here. Then get a tube of clear silicone $2-3.

To make a long story short, use a heat gun to pop off the old orange lens, and use it to make a template on the clear sheet. Then cut out; and re-install clear lens using silicone. Trim as needed, and you are good to go.

Didn't someone here used older Nissan Maxima's clear side markers?. I remember someone posted its part #s.
