Default Sylvania Silverstars

Hey guys, I'm going to replace my OEM headlight bulbs with Sylvania Silverstars, only I'm not sure how many to buy...Should I just replace the Low beam or should I do the high beam and fogs too??? Also, what number is the daytime running lamp...I can't find it anywhere. Should I replace that as well??? I'm just trying to get an idea of what most people do when they replace their OEM bulbs.

Thanks, Mike.

I replaced my hi's and lo's with silverstars, but didn't replace the fog lights. The daytime running lights run through the headlights and do not have a seperate bulb for them so of course there is no part number for them.

FWIW, those Sylvania SilverStars burn out a lot faster than regular halogens. They last about a year or so, two years if you're really lucky. Stock halogens can usually last 5 years or longer. Just thought that you should know.

I always heard the reverse, that the PIAA burn out quickly but the SilverStars last. I've had the SilverStars since shortly after they were available in my region (March '02) and still going okay, knock on wood. I had considered going to PIAA when it comes time to replace the SilverStars to see if they are whiter.
