Bulb changing instructions
Hello all,
Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find instructions on how to change the bulbs for low beam, high beam, and the fog lights for 2005 GS300? Thanks.

high beam, just twist from behind
low beam, if halogen, just twist... if hid, read instructions at top of this forum
fog, take out housing by unscrewing the two black screws right by the inner side of the foglight, and twist

Thanks much romini! I know not to touch the actual bulb, but is disconnecting the car battery necessary prior to replacing the bulb?

nah, as long as the lights are not on, and the car is not running (ignition on off), you should be good

Thanks rominl, got my first set of Silverstars today (9005) and replaced my high beams; all is well. :-) Can't wait for my two other sets of 9006s so I can replace my low beams and fogs.
By the way, can anyone tell me what the little bulbs inside with, and next to the high beam bulbs are? It lights up when I turn on my low beams but are regular yellow lights... Kinda detracts from the white light look! Any ideas?

Hi all,
I'm a newbie here. I want to upgrade my OEM HID bulbs (4300K) to 6000K (Philips). However, my car comes with AFS (RX330 2005). So when I upgrade to the 6000K HID bulbs, will that affect the AFS autoleveling ? And I will appreciate it if you can show me the instruction. Thanks a lot.

changing the bulb won't affect the autoleveling and such, provided that it's changed correctly and everything is in place

Hi rominl,
How do you replace the 168/194 bulbs? Also, will the Polarg m4s match the Silverstars in terms of color? Thanks.

Hi rominl,
Nevermind my last question about changing the Polarg m4s... Found the instructions on the forum... Thanks anyway!
By the way, if anyone else had this question, the thread for changing the bulbs can be found here
