Default Full Electric RX

Tesla changed two RAV 4's to electric and two RX's to electric. Toyota will get the RAV 4 EV shortly but when will Lexus get the RX Electric??? I am seriously thinking of a deposit on the Tesla Model S and changing that to the Tesla Model X. I drove the Roadster and looked over the Model S extensively but I do not want to make a mistake buying a Tesla then Lexus gets the RX electric out.

I haven't heard of Lexus getting an electric RX version but one never knows what Lexus will do. If you let Lexus know they might listen and do something about it. Imagine an RX 200e

WOW. That would be awesome. I did want a Tesla Model S, but I thought production was still getting delayed?

Tesla Model S signature edition will start being built for delivery in July 2012 regular production will follow after. My son and I went to see the Model S and we both really liked it a lot. If we wanted one we were given a delivery date of April/May 2013 orders are pouring in literally as I have been watching the numbers. Every day is another eight orders coming in sometimes more.

1) Several Tesla Model S's have been delivered ahead of schedule
2) Toyota Rav4 EV will be available for all shortly
3) Scion iQ EV for fleet use only available shortly
4) Nissan Leaf and Mitsubishi I immediate delivery if you are lucky no waiting
5) Chargers are made by Clipper Creek, Leviton $1,000 Amazon, and AeroVironment $2,000 through Nissan only
I am a member of the local EV Club also.

A Lexus/Tesla cooperative would be a dream-come-true. I hadn't heard about their electrifying two RXes. Still, Toyota's buying shares and having them make an all-electric RAV4 does lend strongly towards a future RX-e. Since the RX was the first to get a hybrid power plant, an all-electric RX could even pave the way towards other all-electric Lexus. It would be great if an all-electric GS came along, for instance. (The Model S is pretty close in terms of idea.)
