Has anyone used this unit on their factory nav and if so. any problems. they so no cutting wires just havent seen a car with it installed yet. they didn't seem very informative but like the idea of no cutting. any information would be useful.

Check www.avelectronics.com. the same unit can go for $495.00+shipping. The quality issue is still in doubt. I suggest to wait for a few more months for something that really nice and good quality to come out.

Default under construction

That website is under construction. I want to try but im not sure how good lextacy is as a store. haven't heard much about them. for example, if the unit doesn't work if theywould even consider full refunds. anyone had any experience with them?

That where they get the product from, here in Atlanta. If something goes wrong they have to send the unit back to Atlanta. I will find out about the website, you can just order it direct from Avelectronic who manufacturer this unit and sale it at $495.00. Lextaxy is just a middle man and overprice.

I second that. Plus I you can save yourself a hundred dollas by contact avelectronic youself, but I think they don't have the connector for the 1998 GS. This guy at Lextasy used to be a member here and got banned for 9 times and keep coming back with difference name started with Enginry, Bobbby, Mango....and so on. This will tell you something about this guy+ he got this unit for $460.00 and AV electronic sale the same unit for $495.00, but he marked up to $575.00+$25.00shipping. The total will be $600.00, I mean a $100.00 more, go figure...

Help I'm more confused

So which unit has proven it self to be the best?

Is this unit worth the extra money?

Jimxo, the video-nav.com unit requires that you CUT your OEM cable(s). Personally for me this is out of the question. I'd love to have the functionality though.
