I'm in the market for a Tesla style nav unit. I've found these 2 units. Wondering which one is a better unit.

Aliexpress Unit
I have seen the pheonix auto unit reviewed here, and know about the issues i.e. no backup camera support (without the mod) and the HI LO a/c issue.
The aliexpress unit seems newer, and is running android 6.0.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

 

 

I like the one with the ***** a little better.
Only if they made one with a brown bezel to match the cashmere interior. I'd be all over it.

 

That is what's holding me off for now. I have the cashmere interior but in this screenshot, the color doesn't look bad at all. I was looking at the newer unit since the screen is about an inch larger.

 

i like that one because it has instant AC controls...but i would to no how you adjust the volume

 

I placed an order on this style today. Should be here in a month. Paid $550. Down from $674 that they were asking.

2x32. No *****. There is a 2x64 but I'm going to stream a lot instead of storing locally. I found an ebay seller and submitted a few offers. Paid via paypal so I can always file a claim if I don't get it.

There was a site on aliexpress that shows a vendor selling it for $479 for a 2x32. I tried to get it that low but I'm pretty sure I would have to pay some insane amount for shipping.

You can change the language on the unit. There is a video somewhere on Youtube explaining how to

 

Pretty easy to change the language. If you have an android device, it pretty much the same structure.

There is a demo of this actual unit, https://cloud.video.taobao.com/play/...0237708707.mp4. Not too sure if this link will work. It's been hit or miss. I was able to watch it this morning and I'm able to download the demo. Not sure how to upload on here.

 

It this a plug and play install? if not, on a scale of 1-10 how difficult is the install?
