I had a local stereo place redo my entire system and man does it sound like crap. There is way way way too much treb, no mid, and base is really bad sounding too.
Im in the process of redoing the entire thing myself.
I already redid the subs in my trunk (upgraded to 2 12' Rockford punch's, pushed by a 1,400watt 2ch rockford amp, originally pushed by a 1000watt pyle mono amp)
I just need some input on the in-cabin speakers. I currently have some pioneers that I purchased from them for about $200 total (including the front and rears). Originally was pushed by a 2 channel Jensen amp. I bought a 4 channel 800 watt Rockford hoping it would improve the sound but it only did so so. it still sounds very poor (worse than stock).
What do you guys think would put out some better sound?
I heard infinity kappa's were good.
wow did u pick out that original equipment or the shop? as far as what u have now, rockford stuff, ur doin much better, yea i agree with those interior speaker all nice companys, it jsut realy depends on ur listeing taste. i have infinity reference component speaker and love them.
You can take any speaker and make it sound like crap. The thing is you might need some tuning before swapping out the speakers. Tweeter placement, crossover slopes and gain adjustments do magic to sound.
