Currently have MB Quart Component PSD 210 (4") front, RKC 116 (6.5") rear with stock amp.

Now considering Focal Component 136W (5.25") front, 165CV (6.5") rear with new amp.

What kind of model or lexus do you have? If you don't mind spending the cash, try the Diamond Audio components. The sound like high end home speakers. Worth every penny. www.diamondaudio.com.
The amp are also just as awesome.

Another brand that I can recommend would be a/d/s/. Quite smooth sounding.

I have 97 SC3.

hmmm Focals aren't cheap, for those 2 sets of speakers will run me $1500 plus install.

About Diamond audio, which model is the high-end (HEX, M6, M3)?

Thanks

Well, about that $1500 is at the local high-end stereo shop and just now I've found better pricing at onlinestereo.com and sounddomain.com for 1/2 of that price http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/carau...y.asp?c=5&m=38 and they have Diamond audio are even cheaper http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/carau....asp?c=5&m=39.

Have you guy ever deal with them before?

What kind of Diamond speakers do you have? And how much did you pay for them?

I'm also considering S600a and S500a.

I've cheked diamondaudio.com and they do not authorize internet sale I'm having second thought buying thru online (www.onlinecarstereo.com).

I don't care for the Focal tweeters, they're too harsh, unless you spend an arm and leg for the Utopia ones. I A/B'd them against the a/d/s and the Dynaudio, and either of those two are better. The Focal tweets are not smooth, and may grate on your nerves after awhile.

Yeah I heard that Focal Tweeters are kind of harsh when its loud. Focal I'm considering are Utopia series! 136 W component.

Thanks for the input.
