Default Remove stock sub

I was wondering if its better to remove stock sub and leave the hole open to the rear deck when using a JL 250/1 to drive a single JL 10? Does it help the bass get into the car better and cleaner? What the pros and cons?

i was wondering about that too. I just made a box with three alpine type r ported. I would like to take out the rear sub, and se if that helps out with the sound from the trunk.

If anybody have done this before please help us out..

typically it sounds a little better, the problem is that it takes a lot of time and patience to get to the sub and get it out of there.
