Default Car Bulb powered from Battery

I need to power a car H7 bulb indoors to do some testing. I have a spare car battery, can i just connect the bulb to the battery or will it blow the bulb? And i guess it doesnt matter which way round i connect the terminals to the bulb right?

yeah it should be fine and no it doesn't matter on the polarity.
