Default Hid Bulb Handling

i know touching the bulb with your fingertips can cause the bulb to damage and shorten the lifespan
but if you were to handle the bulb w/ gloves on would this eliminate the damage to the bulb?
thanks

if you touch the bulb accidently with your bare hand simply wipe off the bulb with rubbing alcohol and you are ok, oil on your hand creates a hot spot when the bulb is on then it will break.

correct, grease is what kills the bulb. so wearing gloves only help to reduce that possibility. bottom line is still try not to touch the glass portion as much as possible

gloves should be fine - but if you do happen to touch the bulb, those little alcohol wipes that people use to clean their glasses work well.
