Default Need to replace my sub

Not looking for anything spectacular, just a direct bolt in replacement for the stock unit.
Any suggestions?

If you are replacing the stock sub, you probably will need an amp to push it. I have heard some gs with replacement subs with the stock system and to tell u the truth it does not sound as good as the stock sub.

i got a rockford p2 10' as well, but i took the sub out and its just empty space, and i have the rockford sub in a box drilled to the back of the trunk..do you suggest taking the sub out of the box and dropping it in where the stock sub used to be? im also pushing the p2 amp that comes with the sub as well.

i would say leave it in the box being as you already got it in there. ive got an air set up in the trunk and didnt want to take up any more room. so i just put it in the stock location. i took the stock sub and mounting bracket out so there was just a hole droped the p2 in the hole had a friend help me centr it up and held it down with the screws that came with the sub i'll take some pics tomarrow!!!

I have a JL audio free air sub with a 200 watt amp and it sounds pretty good! Its not over powering so if your looking for a really loud bass hitting system then go with a box in your trunk. But this is a defenit improvement over the stock sub

it's the same questions i asked b4, did u have to drill new holes? or it's a direct replacement? i am looking for a direct replacement aftermarket sub.

I'm pretty certain that you'll have to drill new holes. Unless you can get a picture of the new sub and compare it to the oem sub to see if the screw holes match up.
