Was wondering if anyone has been able to get CD-R and CD-RW discs to play in their late model Lexus changer? I imagine CD-R will play (they work in my 3 year old JVC 3-CD in-dash player), but CD-RW only work in players engineered to read them. Anyone having success?

I think with CDRW they only work if you finalize them (in other words prevent erase...err make them into a CDR)
I have friends who have had problems with playback until they switched to the BLACK CDR media....I haven't had any problems, but I have never needed a CDRW...with the price of CDRs at 10-25 cents each....why bother...just burn another.
I'm using the CDR Memorex media that's been burned and finalized by a Pioneer Elite PDR99 (2k$ unit). Works great! I've also noticed that the Memorex media has a bit more signal to noise ratio (good!) than the stock Pioneer discs they used to have. More depth, better soundstage...all the good stuff.
Yes, my ears are sensitive enough to pick out media differences.
