Default Lexus changer not playing burned cds

Does oem Lexus changer plays burned cds? My GS with stock changer is not accepting them!

Mine does, but it depends on the quality/brand of CD-R. I've had problems in the past with my changer not being able to play cheap no-name brand CD-R's. Major brands such as TDK, Maxell, Memorex, Sony, etc. work well.

Also, you might want to check and make sure you're burning on CD-R's (for audio, not data) and not CD-RW's.

Right, and don't put ANY labes on them (makes them too thick)

Sorry, I meant CD-R's, dont know what I was thinking. Never tried CDRW's. But yeah, in my stock CD changer.

Finally got it working again! I guessed the changer only plays burnt cd-r's with softwares nero, Roxio...And not compatible with Sonic's, Record Now software!

you need to the get the cd-changer disk cleaner....i had the same problem when i got my car...it was that the laser lense was dirty so i ran to radio shack and grabbed a cleaning cd...now everything plays on it even some of my most scratched cd's....
