It's not listed on the site. Just send em an email, and they'll get back to you pretty quick.

Thumbs up Try Here

JC - Take a look at www.mechman.com or www.ohiogenerator.com. I've spoken with Ohio about a larger alternator for my GS4 & they said they could rewind a stock alternator for some more output ( maybe 180 amps ). I've seen a lot of Ohio products in some heavy hitters on the SPL circuit so I know those are built solid. Don't know about your SC3 but the GS4 factory alternator is rated at 110 amps ( probably a cold rating ). If ya only need extra power for your stereo, consider a Jacob's Accuvolt. www.jacobelectronics.com Good luck!

If you pump up the output of the alt, do you need to exercise caution on down the flow? i.e. the lines that pushing that power to the rest of the car or is there a regulator somewhere?

Talking No Probs!

Dex - No problems further down the line as the higher output alternator just provides extra amperage & not higher voltage unless U have an adjustable voltage regulator. There's where u need to exercise caution - we had one on the crank-it-up van & when we juiced it up to 16 VDC, we blew the headlights!! Those RF amps were making some serious power at 16 VDC - unregulated power supply!

go to www.yahoo.com, and in the search box type

"ohio generator"

and use the quotes; several hits where I'm sure you can dig up the info you need

Smile Ohio Generator

JC - Guess their site's down. Call them at 330-875-6677. FYI - they're in Louisville, Ohio. Their fax number is 330-875-6688. Good luck with your project!
