I have no key to set the alarm, and I have no idea how to turn it on or off. What is happening is that when I try to get into my trunk, sometimes the alarm will go off until I use the key to open my door. It happened a few days ago and I thought it was someone else's car. Then it happened about an hour ago, and I realized it was my car.

Any info would be great (i already searched... dont want to hardwire it).

 

putting the key in the key hole turns it off.. are you getting in your trunk from the button inside the car? try using your key to get in the trunk

 

Using the key to get into the trunk is what sets it off. Whats weird is that I get into my trunk about 20x a day, and its only happened twice to me.

PS- I tried to keep this in the SC section since this is an SC300. I figured SC guys would know more about this than other people.
