sc 12disk cd changer problems
I dont know what it is.... i tried the skip dr on all my cds and put it in the cd changer. It played fine then its starts taking forever to load and when i skip tracks it takes forever then it would either go to a track i dont want not to mention start like at the middle of the song. It wasnt used for 2 yrs so it could be dusty, should i attemt to open it and clean it (it was dusty in the trunk) or is it time for a new one.

same prob here
most of my cds are burnt and that is when it happens. if i let it play throught it usually will till the end. when i put in an authentic cd it had no prob switching. im interested in this too. it is a pain not to be able to listen to the track that you want or even the tracks that are from 8 and beyond. the changer needs to start reading the cds soon or i will punt it.

basically.... when i put in boolegs it stars maybe at 6 in the middle of a song. wtf! lol I got a new magazine so its not that, and i use authentic disks and they are all smooth (skip doc) i even put in a new cd and it still acts up. I really dont wanna get rid of it cuz i like havin 12 cds, no other car has that many cds for a stock cd changer
