Default CD Changer not ejecting

Hello,

I have been trying to figure out how to get my cd loading tray out of my 10 cd changer that I have in my lexus es300. Its actually a sony cd changer.

I tried pressing on the eject button but it wont release the cd loading tray. Is there any other way to get it out. Its not even playing cds as it shows 3-99 on the current playing cd panel.I read somewhere on the forums that they had to beat the crap out of the cd changer to get out the cd loading tray.

I really dont plan on doing that.

Would really appreciate if anyone can help.

Thanks,
rm1

Sorry to hear about that. I was able to take it out though.

Its pretty simple actually. You can dismantle it and put the cd stucked in the player back to the loading tray. And that way it ejected it out.

The only trouble is now it doesnt plays any cd. It keeps skipping cds from 1 to 10 even if there are no cds in the cd loading tray.

Dunno what will happen?

Was looking for reseting my head unit which is the OEM but couldnt locate the switch for that.

FYI I have a Sony CDX-*** CD changer. Anyone else with the same cd changer had similar issues?
