Guys,

Sorry if this is dumb, but here is my question.

I have a full aftermarket system - HU, speakers, subs, and 2 amps. I used to have 1 amp running my mids and highs and 1 running my sub.

But, my sub amp is blown. So, can I just use my 1 amp to run the subs and the speakers?

How many channels does your amp have? If it has 4, then you could run your mids and highs off of 2 channels and your sub off of the other 2 channels bridged. This is how I have mine setup.

I am not sure how many channels it has?? I take it that it will say it on the amp?? The amp is old and I don't have a manual or anything for it as it was in the car when I bought it.

take a look at the inputs. If it has 1 set of RCA inputs then it's a 2 channel amp. If it has 2 sets of RCA inputs then it's a 4 channel amp. And yes, it usually says how many channels on the amp. Take a pic of it and post it up.
