Guys,
I am confused when it comes to stereo systems. Here's the thing.
I had a Pioneer headunit running 2amps. 1 for mids and highs, and the other for my sub. I was using 3 10" Kickers.
My sub amp blew. It has no legible writing on it. So how do I know how many channel amp I need? What output do I need to run them. Should I go with the RMS?
I was told my setup was bridged but I don't understand what that means?
Could someone please clue me in. Thanks
Jonny

I really don't understand anything u just said.
Peace,
Jonny
if u look at a crutchfield catalog (for example)
1)select a mono amp (one ch.)
2) pick the one with the least registance (low omh rating~= 1 or maybe .5)
since u have 3subs (6wires total) but just 1spkr input (neg/pos) for the sub amp, u'll need to combine them in a proper way and tap it in the spkr input (neg/pos). i dont bridge so i dont remember, but thats the basic idea. ur amp manual or the internet can depict a nice diagram for those who want to bridge. also, there are many other things u can do like dropping the other 2 subs and just use 1amp and bridge the mids/high leaving the rear ch. for the 1 sub ( assuming u have a 4ch. amp).
