Default Nakamichi CD-Changer problem

Hey i just got 2 12"subs and a 760w amp. They are in the trunk. I noticed since i got them my cd player keeps skipping. Im guessing this is because the subs are shaking the cd player which is also in the trunk. I have the Nakamichi sound system. I was wondering if i could just get one of those adapters that run into your cassete player that allow a portable cd player to play through the car speakers... would that fix it?

I just finished removing the CD unit from the trunk and isolating the entire CD player and bracktry with a cut up 1/8" thick neoprene mouse pad. I use them as washers and shock pads between the palyer and brackets and the brackets and body. It has reduced the problem although not completely solved it.
Anyone have any other suggestions?
