There are so many C8's in my area. I've grown to dislike them due to the general attitude of most owners. These guys act like they're driving a damn Bugatti. Don't get me wrong—the car is extremely fast and offers great value for the money. However, it's relatively affordable and not particularly rare.
@Enzo954 I couldn't agree more! Since 2020 Chevy has built over 150K C8 Corvettes (and there are currently almost 5K sitting unsold on dealer lots nationwide as of last month). If I would have pulled the trigger on my order for a new early C8 Corvette, the dealer here in NC wanted $10K over sticker and told me the wait was 14 months. In retrospect, that car (which would have cost me about the same as my 2023 LC 500 cabrio) is now worth about ~$65K. I'm glad I made the RIGHT choice

In my opinion, the C8's don't even look that good. Sure, they are powerful and they look it, but they don't look refined. It's about presence.
The LC says very eloquently, "I own this street."
The C8 says very brashly, "I am trying to own this street."

I think that is a fair distinction .The mid engine C8 is a very compelling performance/cost proposition with plenty of power and impressive 0-60 MPH, 1/4 mile etc. Other than that in my opinion the LC 500 is better in many respects. Built quality, fit /finish, overall craftsmanship, quality of design and materials utilized. More refined , sophisticated and elegance, superior NVH. I really believe that these two cars excel at their respective design objectives but in reality actually attract quite different buyers.
Got together with someone who wanted to buy my all weather mat out of my coupe I use to have. Was cool seeing he had same color as mine except mine is convertible
somebody in a gray RCF spotted me a couple weeks ago, then sent me this video today. We chatted for a minute at the light and he said he was on the lookout for an LC and he sent me this video he took that day and told me he is now an LC owner as well!!

Everyone talks about the great experiences of meeting fellow LC owners. A month or so ago, I finally spotted one on the road and assumed he’d be excited to see another owner. It was an older couple with their windows down. I pulled alongside them, rolled down my windows, and gave a friendly thumbs-up with a light beep. Instead of enthusiasm, the guy looked at me like I was about to mug him at gunpoint—then promptly rolled up his windows, slowed down, and changed lanes. I was a little shocked.

LMAO
I have come across a couple of older folks in LCs mainly because it's FL and that makes a lot of sense. One of them gave me a thumbs up back, another lady I parked next to at Publix took pictures of mine and said she was gonna send them to her husband, and the third one had absolutely no reaction.
I've only come across one person without gray/white hair in an LC and he rolled his window down and gave me the rock on gesture as I pulled up before I could even look over at him.
