Is it me or are the majority of LC 500's located in AZ? I spent a week there last November (and again this July) and must have seen a dozen examples everywhere I went (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Sun City West, Goodyear, etc.). Maybe a lot of retired dentists live there?

haha. I have a black conv and a red conv in my subdivision. So that’s three including mine just in a couple block radius!

funny cuz I saw 3 Lambos, a Rolls, a few Bentleys, and MacLaren all on the same outing today.

I love it here so much.

They still park my white LC up front at most restaurant valets, believe it or not.

I tried to use the LC as an excuse with the wife to get a second place in AZ, needless to say it didn't go over well. She kind-of had a point about not leaving the high schooler alone. Oh well, 2 more yrs. and I can move when the weather changes.

FYI - AZ is not so affordable as it used to be.
We purchased a 2nd place in AZ more that ten years ago and it cost half what our place in CA was worth back then.
Now, that same place in AZ is worth 50% more than our same place in CA.
Lot's of people trying to get out of CA.
That said, many places in AZ have large garages to house our toys.

AZ scares me about the water situation...if it stops raining in N. CA there is nothing flowing downhill and the AZ aquifors are on empty. My buudy lives in Sierra Vista , AZ way south by border...has to treat his water with salt and when taking a shower it feels like all the soap doesnt rinse off.

That means he is using too much soap. You need to cut your soap use down by 50% when using softened water--which almost all of us have here in Paradise.

Also, saw a red LC coupe pull into my gates today...not sure I've seen that before in my 'hood. That would make a total of 4 LCs in my neighborhood if he lives here!

We've noticed the cost's, traffic, construction etc. increasing since vacationing there the past couple of years (Scottsdale). Who knows, I just know that as I get older the lack of sunshine in Michigan is really depressing (it's not really a cold issue). The future plan would be a two home setup (renting with multiple dogs doesn't work) and migrating during the winters. Originally the wife was for just renting in different locations, but the dog thing sort of ends that idea.

Softened Water is softened with salt....Most people have water softeners in AZ because our water is extremely hard and destroys fixtures/appliances/etc if not treated.

Leadership in this state has done a great job of water planning. That doesn't mean some anomaly can't disrupt those plans, but we have yet to experience any water restrictions here in Phoenix.

I'm a real estate agent and prices have gone up just like they have everywhere. The 55+ adult communities are a bit cheaper in housing but there you won't be able to find homes with large garages or anything for extra cars.

It's amazing what we do for our dogs.

My wife brought home a puppy for my daughter five years ago (which quickly became my responsibility) and I ended up replacing all the wall-to-wall carpeting when I realized dogs and carpet don't mix well.

Replaced it with new flooring and rugs that can be sent out for cleaning.

The dog was low cost but everything around him costs big time.

The unconditional love makes it all worth it, right?

Yes, I heard the support and promises from the Kids. I guess in their perspective they do help if I ask . Luckily we already had solid surface floors and a four season sun room. So the new ones are crated there with easy access to the outdoors (nope, ain’t carrying/running down the stairs with a puppy in training). The biggest benefit; the sun room doubled as overflow for when the wife had big gatherings, can’t have those now! The love of Dogs is something mostly only shared by other dog owners (not knocking other pets, daughter has a Bearded Dragon). My unsolicited advice, do not buy a UV light!

Arizona doesn't source its water from California, just its explosive population growth. https://kjzzearlyfellows.nextgenradi...get-its-water/

Phoenix quickly became a high tech manufacturing hub, and many like the new TSMC mega chip plant, recycle 100% of their water needs.

They are adorable and I'm sure irresistible.

Looks like you are on a path to spend big to acquire a comfy house for them in Arizona.

I like seeing LCs in the wild.
