I literally purchased a 2021 Nori Green LC500 Convertible two days prior to taking this photo. Given how rare they are, I didn't think I would ever see the exact same spec as mine even in a city as large as Houston. Crazy.
(For the eagle eyed forum members, I was in my red coupe delivering it to the guy that bought it.)
Didn't get a chance to take a photo, but as I merged my LC onto I-385 just south of Greenville, SC, today, I saw another LC as it drove past me. We smiled and waved to one another.
It brought back a memory. Back in '95, as I was buying a Jeep Wrangler, the salesman gave me a heads-up. He said, "There's an unwritten rule about Wrangler drivers. They always wave to one another. Don't forget to wave!" And it was true. Whenever I encountered another Wrangler on the road, we always waved to one another.
Today's wave was a lot more satisfying!
As a postscript, even though I sold that Jeep 20 years ago, to this day when I see a Wrangler on the road, it's all I can do to not instinctively wave!
